Alfred Deakin Professor Fethi Mansouri is the Director of the Alfred Deakin Research Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation. In 2013, he was awarded a UNESCO Chair in comparative research on ‘Cultural Diversity and Social Justice’ and in 2016 he was appointed Convenor of the UNESCO UniTwin Network for Inter-Religious Dialogue and Intercultural Understanding. He has previously (2010-13) served as an expert advisor to the UN on cultural diversity, and intercultural relations and currently sits on the advisory boards of various international agencies, governments and NGOs.
