Agency
Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria (ECCV)
Task
Co-design a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan 2021-22. Develop a Theory of Change (ToC), Program Logic and interview tools. Build staff capacity in monitoring and evaluation and evaluate the AOT program.

Evaluation Approach
Culturally responsive and equitable evaluation to support the Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria’s efforts to advocate for sustained racial equity in workplaces and develop an evidence-based model for community level activism against racism.

Description
All One Together (AOT) is building a broad-based, collaborative and evidence-based approach on anti-racism, diversity and inclusion measures in employment contexts and related organisational settings. The Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria is engaging key stakeholder groups and audiences that are committed to ending racism, and building their capacity to design and then implement the following three DEI or D&I approaches and strategies:
- Diversity management performance measures aimed at increasing representation within and across all levels of the organisation. Four key areas of actions are: (1) recruitment; (2) institutionalization of diversity management through diversity managers or task forces; (3) the establishment of employee networks and affinity groups for those of a certain minority background; and (4) mentoring programs.
- Diversity and anti-racism trainings, including unconscious or implicit bias training interventions.
- Concepts and practices of inclusion, how inclusion has been defined and operationalised in a way that enhance employees’ equal access to resources and communications and full integration into the work group (‘belongingness’), whilst also valuing and acknowledging the unique skills and perspectives of every employee as central to the organisational cultural and success (‘uniqueness’)
